Dr. Doshi developed a deep foundation in the complexities of the face and neck through five years of intensive surgical training and having performed over 4000 surgeries at Columbia / New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell / New York Presbyterian Hospital, Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) combined. During those years, he was personally trained by the world’s leading authorities and pioneers in the field.

Dr. Doshi was then hand selected to the prestigious fellowship at the Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery Center endorsed by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery where he spent an additional year focusing on advanced cosmetic techniques and aesthetic precision vital to facial beauty.
He has been invited both nationally and internationally to lecture on various surgical topics, published numerous scientific articles and book chapters within the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and serves as one of only a handful of selected physicians across the country to advise on cases in the field of facial plastics and head & neck surgery for various prominent medical groups.
Aside from a passion in pursuing the artistic endeavors of plastic surgery, Dr. Doshi also enjoys singing as he was a former opera singer (2nd tenor, baritone, bass) who has sung in over 7 different languages and has had the privilege to sing at Yankee Stadium, for Congress, for a former Vice President, and for two former U.S. Presidents.

A Cum Laude Honors graduate from Binghamton University, Dr. Kaufman earned his medical degree at the State University of New York – Downstate Medical Center, where he was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Kaufman has published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and has been invited as a speaker at major national and international scientific meetings. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, keeping him on the forefront of state-of-the-art technological advancements and emerging plastic surgery techniques. Additionally, Dr. Kaufman serves as consultant and expert blogger for several healthcare companies and advocacy groups, as well as inspector for the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, recognized as the gold standard in office-based ambulatory surgery accreditation organizations.

Dr. Kaufman completed a rigorous residency training program in General Surgery at Downstate Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident at some of New York’s top hospitals. Continuing his postgraduate training as Fellow in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the renowned Montefiore Medical Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Kaufman again served as Chief Resident, operating with some of the most preeminent surgeons in the country. Dr. Kaufman specializes in aesthetic surgery and body contouring, including liposculpture or liposuction, breast reduction and lifting, breast augmentation, tummy tuck fat grafting and upper arm lifting. He also performs cosmetic surgery of the neck, face, eyelids, eyebrows, nose, and non-operative facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Juan Jose Gilbert is originally from Ecuador, he completed medical school in 2005 at the prestigious Universidad Catolica de Guayaquil, finishing amongst the top of his class. There, he published his graduation thesis on the diagnosis of genetic BRCA mutations and served as the president of the University Student Council. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Gilbert completed a residency in General Surgery at Northwell Health System – Hofstra University, followed by a Plastic Surgery residency at The Long Island Plastic Surgical Group with Stony Brook University – Nassau University Medical Center.

In pursuing his passion for advanced surgical reconstruction, Dr. Gilbert completed his fellowship in Microvascular Surgery at Louisiana State University. There, he mastered microvascular and non-microvascular breast reconstruction as well as complex trauma reconstruction under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Allen Sr., renowned for his creation of the DIEP flap.

Dr. Gilbert is an avid educator, researcher, and philanthropist. Aside from participating in several surgical missions in Central and South America, he has initiated philanthropic education efforts in Ecuador, training surgeons in microvascular techniques to provide advanced care to patients who otherwise would not have such opportunities, providing free care for cancer patients at the same time. Dr. Gilbert executes these missions in conjunction with the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Louisiana State University, where he maintains an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery.

In addition to advanced breast reconstruction, Dr. Gilbert specializes in a wide variety of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures, including facial plastic surgery, body contouring, and breast augmentation.

Dr. Gilbert has a passion for helping others; finding joy in being able to restore his patients from the consequences of cancer or trauma; improving the way they look and feel about themselves, and being able to bring this happiness to his patients’ fuels his day.

Dr. Gilbert finds passion in every aspect of plastic surgery. From when he is improving the aesthetic outlook in an elective cosmetic case, to the time at the emergency room when he is reconstructing a face.

Early on in his career, Dr. Gilbert volunteered his time aiding people in third world countries providing specialized plastic surgery care. He has developed his own Plastic Surgery Mission, offering free breast reconstruction for breast cancer survivors in Ecuador, where patients do not have access to microvascular breast reconstruction.

Being able to improve a patient’s life by either restoring what cancer took away or by improving the aesthetic aspect of a patient’s face is what drives his motivation to become better every day.

Dr. Gilbert also enjoys teaching at and participating in academic conferences. He holds an active academic appointment at LSU (Louisiana State University) where he completed his microvascular surgery training.
